By rehabilitating an abandoned building and its carelessly built outbuildings, the architects have brought new ideas to its original soul. Among the difficulties they have encountered, there were irregularities of construction, the environment, and utilities (such as tubing). This compelled them to come up with more creative solutions, both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Some of the most interesting results are the entrance, which shows us the city’s natural geomorphology in the rough, and the back terrace, also with the expected beautiful landscape.

However, the apartments are more than just landscape. Despite small, the use of available space was expertly achieved, which resulted in modern and cozy rooms. Of the six apartments – all named after the six bridges of Porto’s Douro river -, five are studio apartments and the sixth one is a two-bedroom penthouse. The smaller apartment can house up to two people, the other four house up to four people, and the penthouse is large enough for families, or a group of friends up to six people.

Remarkably located, in just a few minutes by foot, the guests can be by the Ribeira of Gaia or Porto, in the historic center, or in the Jardim do Morro subway station. Inspite of the easy access, there is enough distance to make sure you get a good night’s sleep.
