It’s at one of the oldest houses of Port Wine production that you will find the exhibit “Porto & Douro: Through the Lens”.
Porto and the most iconic places of the Alto Douro region are the highlight of this exhibit.

The exhibit, which brings together the works of Emilio Biel, Domingos Alvão, Estúdio Beleza, and Frederick William Flower, can be visited at the old Croft warehouses and gathers photos from 1845 to 1975.

The historical area focuses on the Port Wine. Since its production, to its storage, all the way through transport and export, the photos by some of the oldest Portuguese photographers will show you a little of the culture and history of the region, and of one of the best enjoyed wines in the world.

The exhibit can be visited until the end of October, and each entrance costs 5€ - which will give you access not only to the exhibit, but also to an exclusive Port store and a cocktail.
