Casa da Música receives São João with gastronomy and music
It is one of the most emblematic buildings of the city of Porto. Casa da Música, in the heart of Avenida da Boavista, also celebrates São João on the great night of June 23 to 24.
Located at the top of the building, Casa da Música restaurant promises to prepare, for 27.5 € per person, a very special menu, bringing the traditional menu of this festive occasion to the dishes.
On the same night, at 10 pm, Casa da Música promises two performances that pretend to be an alternative to the concerts that happen a little throughout the city. In the iconic Sala Suggia, a performance of the Banda Sinfónica Portuguesa is expected, dedicating a repertoire specially dedicated to the city of Porto. Admission is free and tickets can be lifted from 9:30 am on June 23, although limited to 4 per person.
At Café Casa Da Música there is also a performance, at 10 pm, of the Portuguese DJ set Rodrigo Affreixo. Admission is free. This concert is part of the initiative Verão na Casa Super Bock.
