Cocktails: Port Cobbler

The Cobbler is a mixed drink that contains spirit, sugar and fresh fruit. You can drink it at any cocktail bar or you can try to make it at home.

The Cobbler dates from at least the 1830s in the USA. It introduced two new things: ice and straws, items that are very commun nowadays. These made the cocktail one of the most popular of the XIX century.
