In its second edition, the trip aboard the most luxurious train in the country promises to be an exclusive and memorable enogastronomic experience in the Douro Valley.

From May 10th to the 14th, the Portuguese Presidential Train will provide its passengers with an enogastronomic trip with Chefs Pedro Lemos - winner of a Michelin star - and João Rodrigues - Restaurant Feitoria, a Michelin star - and a visit to Quinta do Vesuvio, a one of the most emblematic in Douro.

The journey, which starts at São Bento station, lasts 9 hours through the beautiful landscapes along the Douro, it's limited to 60 passengers a day to offer the most exclusive experience possible on the convoy that has transported kings, presidents, popes and chiefs of state between 1890 and 1970.

Each passenger will be able to enjoy a gourmet tasting menu, consisting of four dishes specially prepared by chefs Pedro Lemos and João Rodrigues, from 10 to 11 and 12 to 14 May, consecutively. Accompanied by the harmonization of wines with each of the dishes, and live music.

The visit to Quinta do Vesuvio, considered one of the most beautiful in the region, includes Port wine tasting. You will also receive a unique gift bag with a book autographed by the chef and special discounts at partner hotels.
