Sheraton Porto Hotel and Spa: an eco-friendly hotel
The Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa hosted the Green Key in 2014 for the hotel's high-efficiency lighting. In this iconic 12-story building, the corridors are equipped with presence sensors to avoid wasting energy and have high-efficiency lighting in the rooms.

The taps have sensors installed to save water and there are low emission materials such as floor paints and furniture.They also choose to minimize waste through recycling and have eco-responsible purchases as alternatives to mineral water in plastic bottles or sustainable food and beverage options.

The Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa has 266 rooms and suites, a bar and a restaurant, Porto Novo, with a "Show Cooking" concept based on the roots of Traditional Portuguese Cuisine.

The hotel also has 1750m2 of space for conferences, meetings and banquets lit with natural light, but which can be darkened if necessary. Outside there is still 4,000m2 of gardens.
