Recipe: Pataniscas de Bacalhau
Ingredients:
600g of codfish
4 eggs
50g of flour
1 onion
1 branch of parsley
frying oil
salt to taste
ground pepper to taste
Preparation:
1st step: cook the codfish;
2nd step: mix the flour with the eggs and water (or milk, or beer);
3rd step: chop the onion and the parsley and add to the mixture;
4th step; shred the codfish and add to the mixture season with salt and ground pepper;
5th step: heat the oil to 150º, with the help of a tablespoon remove pieces of mixture and place in the hot oil. Let it fry and then drain on absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Finally, the pataniscas are ready to serve.
Porto Tasty reccomends that you accompany your pataniscas with tomatoe or bean rice and/or salad.
